About me

I am a specialist in competition law and policy, market regulation and international economic cooperation. I currently work for the UK Office of Fair Trading.

I have an MA in International Political Economy and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Sheffield. My academic work was focused upon development politics, neoliberalism, theories of US hegemony and trade politics, particularly the concept of ‘trade justice’. I also studied the role of transnational civil society in global governance, with a specific focus on the World Trade Organization and the 'Battle in Seattle'.

I have previously worked as a voluntary researcher at the Center for International Relations, as an editor at e-International Relations and for the web magazine The Politics, as well as the think-tank Knowledge Politics.
